Summer love

Hello, friends! I hope you’re enjoying the summer as much as I am.

First of all, I want to thank all of you who purchased The New Romance Cafe’s charity anthology, Stand for Ukraine. We exceeded our goal of $10,000.00 donated to Save the Children for the children of Ukraine. Our final total was $11,165.00. I’m so proud to have been a part of this book and can’t say enough good things about my friends at The New Romance Cafe.

I’ve had a great summer in my favorite town of Tryon, North Carolina. I started a weekly artists and writers coffee with some like-minded friends, beta tested a cool online romance writers’ course for a friend (there’s always more to learn!), and camped with friends on Grandfather Mountain at the Highland Games.

That mountain trip inspired me to write a Tryon Diary column (as Susan McNabb) for the Tryon paper.

To celebrate my wonderful summer, I’ve put three of my books on sale! Drop Dead Gorgeous, my vampire romance set in the modeling world of L.A. is only 99 cents on Kindle Aug. 26-Sept. 2. My pair of novelettes are also only 99 cents at the same time: The Vampire of Waller County and Christmas in Waller County. These mysteries are set in Hogback, which looks a lot like Tryon (where I am right now.). If you haven’t had a chance to check out these books, I hope you’ll grab them and enjoy them while they’re on sale.
